About the brewery
Pivovárek Morava Brewery is a craft brewery that was founded in 2013 on the site of the former Morava restaurant in Frýdek-Místek. Since the beginning, the brewery has focused on the production of beer using traditional Czech recipes, especially bottom-fermented lagers of the Pilsner type.
In the production of our bottom-fermented lagers we use only and exclusively Czech ingredients, never any substitutes or modern preparations. We follow time-tested procedures, and we are in no hurry. Beer fermentation lasts 7-14 days, then the beer sits in the lager tanks for 3-4 weeks, lagers even up to 60 days. Only thanks to this procedure the beer acquires its natural character and unmistakable taste. Therefore, do not expect a uniform “europivo” from us, but on the contrary a truly honest and rare unpasteurized Czech beer. The kind our fathers and grandfathers drank.

Martin Gajdáček
Our brewer Martin Gajdáček is a native of Frýdek-Místek, where he still lives. He is the second generation in his family to continue the brewing craft. After graduation, Martin worked for 17 years at the Radegast brewery, where he gained extensive experience.
He sees malting at the Morava Craft Brewery as an opportunity to put his experience to good use and, as he says, his goal is :
“To give soul to a new honest beer, which is made from the best ingredients, according to traditional methods and centuries -proven brewing technology”.
Marek Blahut
The second brewer of the craft brewery is Marek Blahut. Marek is a native of Vojkovice, and it was the proximity of the Nošovice brewery that turned Marek’s life towards beer. He graduated from the brewery school in Prostějov and then joined Nošovice, where over the years he passed through all the production centers and gained a lot of experience. In 2015, Marek decided to change his professional career and returned to the roots of honest craft production of the most popular Czech beverage right here at Řemeslný pivovar Morava / the Morava Craft Brewery.
ONDŘEJ STANIOWSKI
Ondra is the youngest brewer in our team. Like his two older colleagues, he loves beer and brewing is his hobby. He is not afraid of experimentation and brings a fresh wind to our portfolio in the form of top-fermented specials that follow the trends of the younger generation of brewers.
Although it doesn’t look like it, Ondra loves great food as well as honest beer.
